Rep. Kilmer holds town-hall meetings in Port Angeles, Port Townsend today

Rep. Derek Kilmer begins a series of six town-hall-style meetings in the 6th Congressional District with two on the North Olympic Peninsula today.

The first 90-minute session, in Port Angeles, starts at noon in the Peninsula College Little Theater, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

The next, in Port Townsend, starts at 5 p.m. in Fort Worden Commons at Fort Worden State Park, 200 Battery Way.

Parking for those attending Kilmer’s meeting will be exempt from state Discover Pass restrictions between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Doors for both meetings open a half-hour before the scheduled start.

Then between Wednesday and Saturday, Kilmer, D-Gig Harbor, will continue his series of town-hall meetings in Bainbridge Island, Aberdeen and Tacoma while Congress is recessed for the Memorial Day holiday.
