Road closures set for two Sequim intersections

SEQUIM — The city of Sequim has announced that construction on the Fir Street project will commence with nighttime closures at the intersections of Fir Street and Sequim Avenue and Fir Street and Fifth Avenue for utility work.

The closure at Sequim Avenue is scheduled from 5 p.m. to midnight Monday and Tuesday.

The utility work at Fifth Avenue is scheduled for 5 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16.

Detour routes will be in place during the closures.

Residents can sign up for text or email alerts on the progress of the Fir Street project by visiting www.sequimwa.gov and selecting “Notify Me.”
