SEQUIM — Sequim residents and visitors can expect delays due to pavement rehabilitation on roads and trails throughout the city beginning Monday, April 10.
Work will be performed between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and is expected to take three to four weeks to complete.
Crews will work on Oak Wood Drive, Oak Tree Ridge Street, East Hendrickson Road, North Brown Road, parts of the Olympic Discovery Trail, Keeler Road, East Fir Street, West Hendrickson Road and Garry Oak Drive.
Construction is tentatively planned to proceed in the order listed.
Traffic on North Sequim Avenue, North Sunnyside Avenue, North Knapman Avenue, North Govan Avenue, North Matriotti Avenue, West Hendrickson Road and East Washington Street may be affected by the construction.
Resident access will be maintained, but drivers should heed flaggers, cones and construction signs and be alert for large construction equipment.
The project includes placing hot mix asphalt, milling, placing ADA-compliant ramps and replacing sidewalks.
The work will be performed by Lakeside Industries, PR Systems and Interwest Construction.
