PORT TOWNSEND — One lane of state Highway 20 was blocked for about an hour Monday after a single-vehicle, rollover crash south of Port Townsend, authorities said.
The car was traveling westbound when it left the roadway and struck an embankment near Martin Road just south of state Highway 19, according to the State Patrol.
“It went up against the embankment and landed on its side,” said Trooper Brandon Johanson, State Patrol spokesman.
No one was seriously hurt in the crash, Johanson said.
“There were two green patients, which means minor injuries, probably,” said Leah Speser of East Jefferson Fire-Rescue.
The identities of the driver and passenger were not immediately available.
The wreck was reported at 12:26 p.m. Highway 20 was closed in both directions until 12:41 p.m. and reduced to one lane until 1:20 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.
