The state Department of Transportation has completed two fish passage projects on U.S. Highway 101 between Sequim and Gardiner as well as a roundabout at the intersection of state Highway 104 and state Highway 19.
The temporary two-lane bypass routes at both sites have been closed and the highway has been fully reopened to traffic, according to a WSDOT press release.
At Highway 19, the roundabout is fully opened, allowing left turns again. The detour and temporary traffic signal at Center Road also has been removed.
The completed projects will be replaced by two new fish passage projects at Johnson Creek and an unnamed tributary to Sequim Bay and a two-lane, metered roundabout at the intersection of state Highway 104, Shine Road and Paradise Bay Road.
