FORKS — If you live in Forks, you should have awakened this morning with your electric clocks a bit behind the times.
The second of four planned electrical outages was set for early this morning on the West End.
The outage was planned between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. and was to affect all Clallam County Public Utility District customers in the Forks area, Jefferson County south of Forks, Sekiu, Clallam Bay, Neah Bay, Beaver, Sappho, Pysht and all areas west of Lake Crescent.
Planned outages
Clallam PUD said the Bonneville Power Administration scheduled the series of planned outages to maintain its equipment at its substation at Sappho.
The next two early morning outages are set for Saturday, Sept. 21, and Sunday, Oct. 13.
The first outage in the series was July 28.
