A boating safety course will start Jan. 24 at Peninsula College’s Port Angeles campus and run for seven Wednesday evenings.
Boat handling, navigation aids, adverse conditions and digital charting are among the topics to be covered, and completion of the course satisfies state requirements for boat operation.

The North Olympic Sail & Power Squadron is open to all boating enthusiasts.
