SHINE – Previously scheduled construction-related closures of the state Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge over the nights of Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22, have been canceled.
Motorists can expect that night closures of the bridge will resume Monday, April 23, according to a press release from the state Department of Transportation.
When the closures resume, crews will intermittently close the bridge to traffic between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. while working to replace the hydraulic system that aids in drawspan operations.
During those work hours, crews will regularly open the bridge to ease congestion.
The traffic openings will be unscheduled and performed as workloads allow.
