SHINE — Overnight closures of the Hood Canal bridge on state Highway 104 previously scheduled for June 3-7 have been postponed until June 10-14.
The bridge will close from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. nightly from Monday, June 10, through the morning of Saturday, June 15.
The seven-hour closures will allow work crews to complete the replacement worn shock absorbers on the bridge.
Due to the nature of the work, the bridge will not open for any traffic, including emergency vehicles, during the overnight closures.
The overnight work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled.
