Scholarships, grants available for students

PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Physicians Community Benefit Fund recently announced that it is accepting applications for academic scholarships and for community grants.

Scholarship applicants must be a graduate of a Clallam County high school and must either be accepted to or currently enrolled in a fully accredited professional school in a medically related program.

Community grants can be awarded to medically related one-time projects that benefit a broad cross-section of the community.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, June 3.

Applications can be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Clallam County Physicians Community Benefit Fund, P.O. Box 3005, Port Angeles, WA 98362.
