SEC announces probe of Port Townsend company

Intellicheck Mobilisa Inc. said today that the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating the company, the Puget Sound Business Journal [ http://www.bizjournals.com/seattle ] and other media reported.

Specifically, the SEC is conducting an investigation of “certain trading in securities of the company.”

“The company takes all securities laws and SEC regulations very seriously and is cooperating with the SEC’s inquiry,” Intellicheck Mobilsa said in a statement.

The Port Townsend company makes and markets wireless technology and identity systems. Last month, Intellicheck Mobilisa Inc. CEO Nelson Ludlow told shareholders not to expect a turnaround of the company’s financial situation by the end of the year.
