PORT HADLOCK — Naval Magazine Indian Island will conduct security training exercises on Wednesday and Thursday.
The exercise on Wednesday will involve sirens and flashing lights along the installation’s southern boundary.
Training activities Thursday will include blank ammunition, loud sirens and flashing lights near the installation’s pier.
Residents living in the communities surrounding Indian Island and installation personnel may notice increased noise levels and activities associated with the training exercise that day.
The Navy said it conducts security exercises at installations across the world to ensure readiness and verify response procedures.
