Senior citizens will have the chance to discuss Medicare issues with U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, D-Mountlake Terrace, during a town hall meet at 11 a.m. Friday at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St. The meeting lasts until 12:30 p.m.
Then she meets Port Townsend seniors at 2 p.m. at the Port Townsend Communtiy Center, 620 Tyler St. That meeting lasts until 3 p.m.
Cantwell describes as “flawed”‘ the Medicare prescription bill passed by Congress and signed by President in December.
Cantwell said her constituents are “overwhelmingly opposed to the bill.”
