SEQUIM — A field of 10 young women is competing for four spots on the 109th Irrigation Festival Royalty Court.

A queen and three princesses will be chosen to represent Sequim at festival events and at parades, fairs and other events around Western Washington.

Vying for the titles are Ashlee Gustason; Adrianna Creasey; Rachel Winter; Katie Gammill; Chelsea Beus; Sarah Barnett; Wynn Callin-Young; Shaina Smith; Tomi-Kay Thompson, and Michelle Henry.

The candidates have worked with coaches and advisers on perfecting their stage presence in anticipation of the annual festival pageant, scheduled for March 6 in the auditorium of the performing arts center at Sequim High School, 601 N. Sequim Ave.
