SEQUIM — Being trapped upside down in her seat belt might have contributed to the death of a 60-year-old Puyallup woman, authorities said Monday.
Wanda Mae Willis was found in her overturned Ford Pinto station wagon at the end of Western Way — the former U.S. 101 link between River Road and the highway — at 11 a.m. Friday and died later that day at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
State troopers were still looking for answers about the single-car rollover about a mile west of downtown Sequim.
“We have a lot more questions than answers,” said Washington State Patrol trooper Ken Ahrens, who helped investigate the crash.
