SEQUIM — A 14-year-old Sequim boy was in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being shot in the head by a friend Friday night.
A Harborview spokesman said Michael Warner was listed in critical condition Saturday night in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
Capt. Ron Cameron of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Department said the boy had undergone surgery Saturday.
“The good news is that he’s responding to commands from the doctors and nurses treating him,” Cameron said.
Warner was visiting a friend’s house on Texas Valley Road, in the Lost Mountain area, when the shooting took place.
