Sequim burglary alert issued by Clallam sheriff’s office

From the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office this morning:

**NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH ALERT**

On Wednesday, January 16, 2013, a white male adult riding a bicycle and carrying a backpack burglarized a residence on Lakeview Drive, Sequim, WA, while the homeowner was at a residence next door.

This burglary occurred during the day and the suspect rode his bicycle around the residence, ringing the doorbell and knocking on the door to see if anyone was home.

After circling the residence, the suspect broke through a bathroom window and committed the burglary.

Deputies and detectives are following up leads on this case and would like residents to be aware of suspicious people and vehicles in their neighborhoods.
