SEQUIM — The owner of Lehman’s Market says the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce’s decision to end its involvement with the 154-foot long mural on his building will make it easier to remove the painting.
Chamber board members voted unanimously Wednesday to cut their ties to the mural.
The mural has been at the center of controversy for more than two months after the chamber announced it was voiding a contract with former building owner Charles Lehman.
That decision cleared the way for removal of the mural.
