Sequim: City Council considers using Internet for meeting documents

SEQUIM — The City Council may soon take another step into the electronic age by distributing agendas and other documents on the Internet rather than on paper.

City Manager Bill Elliott told the council during its Monday meeting that the city could save thousands of dollars by using the Internet to transmit documents.

Council members liked the idea of being able to access archives as well as current documents on the city’s Web site rather than trying to maintain their own paper files.
