SEQUIM — Residents and business owners curious about how a massive downtown revitalization project will effect their lives and livelihoods had an opportunity to ask questions Wednesday night at an open house hosted by the Public Works Department.
Using posted charts and illustrations, Public Works Director Jim Bay showed off plans for a $3.8 million street renovation — and other city construction projects — set to begin Sept. 22.
“When this is all over — about this time next year — you’re going to have a brand new town,” Bay told the crowd of about 50.
“I think you’ll really be proud of it.”
