SEQUIM — Monthly water bill? $40. Building permit? $150.
Paying for city services with a MasterCard or Visa? Almost priceless.
City Administrative Services Director Marva Dryke said she’s looking into ways customers might use their credit or debit cards to pay utility bills, permit application fees — or any other service for which the city collects money.
“I’m excited about it. I see it as another avenue for customer service,” Dryke said Wednesday.
Dryke mentioned the idea to City Council members at their study session Wednesday, when the council discussed its work plan for 2004.
