SEQUIM — The Port of Port Angeles is seeking a consultant to develop a master plan for John Wayne Marina.
The consultant will work with Port staff and a citizen advisory committee on a master plan focusing on maximum use of the marina, including upland properties, buildings and marina moorage slips over the next 5 to 20 years.
The master plan will include a “market-based analysis” of existing John Wayne Marina facilities and identify all usage demands and revenue opportunities for both public service and commercial operations.
The plan and market analysis also will include at least three preliminary configurations and their estimated costs, a financial analysis with a projected vacancy rate and supportable rental rates, and grant funding opportunities.
