SEQUIM — A proposed 85-lot subdivision south of Madigan Road and east of Sunrise View Avenue will be the subject of a public hearing Sept. 9 before the Clallam County Hearings Examiner.
A hearing about the subdivision, proposed in June 2001, last year attracted 85 people.
That public hearing was cut short when county planners withdrew their environmental assessment of the project.
The project was re-submitted and county planners concluded it required an environmental impact statement based on its potential impact on ground water.
