SEQUIM — Whoever left a junk car loaded with car parts and other garbage in the middle of a county road overnight Thursday could be in for a costly surprise.
“I’d like to return this piece of crap to whoever left it here and then write them a ticket to go with it,” Clallam County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Ralph Edgington said Friday morning as he waited for a county road crew to haul away the hulk and its contents.
Edgington answered the call to check out the vehicle abandoned at the west end of Woodcock Road, northwest of Sequim. He said he was shocked at what he found.
The vehicle is light blue, covered with hand-painted red flames and other graffiti.
One of the words on the vehicle is “Kar.” It appears to be a mid-1970s Ford.
