SEQUIM — A vacancy on the Clallam County Fire District No. 3 board has drawn the interest of two former commissioners and its former chief.
The opening was created by the resignation of Lawrence Kettel, who served the district for 40 years as a volunteer and elected commissioner. Kettel resigned to devote more time to travel.
Hoping to succeed him are Dave Cameron, Don Huston, Richard Houts, Pete Lawson and Tom Lowe.
