SEQUIM — Four of Sequim’s five schools have new principals after a School Board meeting full of surprises Monday.
Two of the principals come from other schools while two others already held administrative positions in the Sequim school district.
Here’s the new lineup of principals:
* Shawn Langston, former assistant principal at Ballou Junior High School in Puyallup, takes over the helm of Sequim High School.
* Mark Willis, former high school assistant principal and a finalist for the principal’s position, is the new principal at Sequim Middle School.
* Laura Anderson, middle school principal for the past two years, is the new principal at Sequim Community School.
* Veteran administrator Dan Estvold of Stanwood is the new principal of Greywolf Elementary School in Carlsborg.
Ken Lemley remains as principal at Helen Haller Elementary School.
