SEQUIM — In what may be a positive ending to a tragic tale that began almost two weeks ago, a Joyce family Saturday buried 16-year-old Jesica Vanesa Iberlucea with the financial support of a community they did not know.
Family, friends and classmates of Jesica joined members of Asambleas de Dios Iglesia Evangelica (Assemblies of God Evangelical Church) and Drennan & Ford Funeral Home and Crematorium at the Sequim church Saturday afternoon for a funeral and burial funded by community donations.
About 100 people attended the service.
