Sequim Lavender Fest vendor applications now available

SEQUIM — Applications are now available for street fair vendors at the 9th annual Sequim Lavender Festival July 15-17.

The street fair includes a juried show and emphasizes handmade crafts and agricultural products made or grown in Jefferson and Clallam counties.

All crafts sold at the street fair must be made by the artist who is submitting the application.

Completed applications are due by Friday, Feb. 4.

* The artist-craft vendor application is available at www.lavenderfestival.com, by e-mail at info@lavenderfestival.com or by phoning 360-681-3035 or 877-681-3035 (toll free).

* Musicians and other performers should send a press kit and CD to the festival office at 105½ E. First St., Port Angeles, WA 98362.

* Food vendors should call the festival office at 360-681-3035 or 877-681-3035 for information.

Vendors who want to market their products, or perform, at a participating lavender farm should contact that farm directly.

Participating farms are listed at www.lavenderfestival.com.

One of the largest events on the North Olympic Peninsula and sponsored by the Sequim Lavender Growers Association, the festival includes the street fair, tours of lavender farms, local food and wines and music performances.

Last summer’s festival attracted about 30,000 people.
