Sequim Mayor Walt Schubert used a Port Angeles rostrum Monday to urge increased cooperation among governments as a way to promote economic development on the North Olympic Peninsula.
Schubert, nearing the mid-way point of his two-year term as Sequim mayor, delivered the key address at Monday’s weekly Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce meeting at the Port Angeles CrabHouse Restaurant.
“We have to be all together or it’s not going to work,” Schubert said of the economic development issue.
Schubert urged Clallam County and Port of Port Angeles officials to cooperate with cities in promoting economic development.
