Sequim: “Mr. Irrigation Festival” Jim Carl dies at 72

SEQUIM — One friend called him “Mr. Irrigation Festival.”

Another said he was and always will be the “voice of the Wolves,” Sequim High School’s football and basketball teams.

Most agreed Monday that Jim Carl, who died of heart disease Saturday at age 72, was a beloved resident who went to great lengths to serve his community of Sequim.
