SEQUIM — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate a rash of recent thefts from construction sites, mostly in the Sequim area.
No new arrests have been made since one man was taken into custody last week, “but further arrests are expected,” Capt. Steve Snover said Thursday.
Since early September, builders have reported plywood, tools and even a job trailer stolen from secluded job sites in and around Sequim, with some sites hit more than once.
The reports have stretched from east of Port Angeles into western Jefferson County.
