SEQUIM — Two cats were killed when fire erupted early Saturday morning in a unit at Town and Country Apartments.
According to Clallam County Fire District No. 3 (Sequim) officials, the blaze broke out in one unit of a four-apartment building at 760 N. Sequim Ave.
The resident of that apartment was transported to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles where she was treated for smoke inhalation and released.
