An 18-year-old Sequim man, Donald Aaron Bell, was arrested for first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm after he shot a friend in the head Friday, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said a 21-year-old Sequim-area man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was listed in stable condition.
According to officers, the men were shooting .22 caliber rifles in the yard at 130 Laverne Lane, Sequim, on Friday afternoon.
Both are convicted felons, deputies said, and cannot by law possess or control firearms.
Bell also may face charges of reckless endangerment, officers said.
