The man who robbed Hollywood Video in Sequim with a semiautomatic pistol remains at large as police continue to investigate.
Police Sgt. Sean Madison on Tuesday said officers had not yet identified the culprit but are working with several other agencies to look at a pattern of similar robberies at Hollywood Video stores throughout Western Washington.
The Sequim Hollywood Video, 755 W. Washington St., was robbed just before midnight Friday when a man wearing dark clothing and a bandanna over his face pointed his gun at the five people in the store, demanded money from the cash registers and ordered everyone into a back room before fleeing.
Madison said the store’s surveillance camera was not working properly when the crime occurred.
