Bob Spinks celebrates his final day as Sequim’s chief of police Friday by donning a lei and a loud shirt and greeting fans of his KSQM-FM 91.5 program, “The Five-O Show.”
The event was a “Hail to the Chief Bob-R-Q” in the radio station’s parking lot. Joe Borden of Sequim, at right, the recently retired Irrigation Festival chairman, was among those who stopped by to wish Spinks well.
Spinks resigned after being told by the city manager to find a new job or resign by Dec. 31. Spinks decided to resign effective Friday.
