Sequim Rotary Club names students of the month

SEQUIM — The Rotary Club of Sequim announced its Students of the Month for April, May and June at a lunch meeting May 30.

April’s Student of the Month is Hope Glasser, a Sequim High School junior.

Glasser participates in track and field, soccer and basketball and enjoys science and literature.

The Student of the Month for May is Ashley Rosales, who is the youngest graduating senior in the the history of Sequim High School.

Rosales plans to work with the Boys and Girls Club summer food program and then attend the University of Washington.

Alissa Lofstrom was named as the June Student of the Month. She is a junior at Sequim High School.

Lofstrom was recognized for her participation in the Interact club and for serving on the board of Habitat for Humanity.

The public is invited to the club’s weekly lunch meetings at 11:45 a.m. Thursdays at the Baja Cantina, 531 E. Washington St.
