Sequim: Sculpture lighting destroyed by vandals

SEQUIM — Vandals destroyed three yard lights in Carrie Blake Park on Friday night or Saturday morning, police said.

The lights illuminated the “Sunlight and Shadow”‘ sculpture.

“Somebody busted them off and tossed them in the grass,” Officer Jim Vorhies said.

Vorhies said a parks department employee told him the lights were worth about $20 a piece.
