SEQUIM — A SunLand home at the center of several recent drug arrests now belongs to Clallam County.
Christine Gullixson, 52, signed over interest in the home at 188 San Juan Drive, in the SunLand Golf & Country Club development, as part of a plea agreement reached Friday with Clallam County prosecutors.
The house was posted Monday.
Gullixson pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent to distribute heroin and cocaine, one count of simple possession of heroin and one count of unlawful use of a building for drug purposes.
The plea agreement stipulates a sentence of 12 months in prison, followed by an additional 12 months in community custody and a requirement to undergo drug treatment.
Prosecutors had initiated a civil action under a state law which allows them to pursue assets related to drug crimes.
The plea agreement makes that step unnecessary.
“We’re very happy about this,” Deputy Prosecuting Attorney John Prentiss said Monday.
