SEQUIM — The City Council wants to hear from citizens Monday night on a proposed six-year transportation improvement plan.
Council members will hear public input on a list of 14 street improvement projects, all of which are planned for construction between now and 2006.
The combined projects will cost an estimated $16 million.
After state and federal contributions, the city’s share is projected at $1.7 million, said Public Works Director Jim Bay.
Cities and counties are required every year to submit updated six-year road plans to the state Department of Transportation so it may estimate well in advance how much state funding will be needed.
