SEQUIM — Construction of two new softball fields at Carrie Blake Park is expected to start soon after awarding of a $143,000 contract during Monday night’s City Council meeting.
Jamestown Excavating, owned by the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, outbid Primo Construction of Sequim for the job. Primo’s bid was $172,000.
The bid included construction of a restroom facility at a cost of $80,000.
