Students are asked to collect donations for the Helen Haller Parent-Teacher Organization’s “Six Books for Summer” reading program and to buy a rock-climbing wall for the school.

The goal is to raise $23,600, or about $40 per student, event organizers said.

Donations can be made online at www.theget movincrew.com.

Participants can share their student’s pledges with friends and family through email, Facebook and Twitter.

The student who raises the most in donations will get a special treat: a ride in a fire truck (grades pre-K to second) or a limousine (third through fifth grades).

The second-highest earners get a family pass to Olympic Game Farm (pre-K to second) or family pack of movie passes to Deer Park Cinemas (third through fifth grades).
