A “micro earthquake”‘ measuring 2.4 was centered under the Strait of Juan de Fuca almost halfway between the Dungeness Spit and Victoria on Wednesday.
The quake, which had a depth of 27 miles below the sea bottom, occurred about 5:05 p.m., the University of Washington’s Department of Earth and Space Sciences reported.
There were no reports of injuries or damage — or even anyone feeling the quake.
