Major snow is coming to the Olympic Mountains through Sunday afternoon. Here’s the latest National Weather Service advisory . . .

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM PST SUNDAY FOR

THE OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS ABOVE 3000 FEET…

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS ABOVE 3000 FEET FOR

SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM PST SUNDAY. THE WINTER STORM

WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* ACCUMULATIONS…LOCALLY 6 TO 14 INCHES OF NEW SNOW IS LIKELY

THROUGH TONIGHT WITH AROUND 6 INCHES EXPECTED AT HURRICANE

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW…SLEET…OR

FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR

SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE
