Some Port Townsend ferry runs canceled this week

Low tides and strong currents bring a new round of cancellations of ferry service between Port Townsend and Keystone past New Year”s.

Scheduled 5:15 p.m. Port Townsend sailings on Wednesday and Thursday, and the 6:45 p.m. sailing on Thursday will be canceled.

Friday’s and Saturday’s 6:45 p.m. runs and the Saturday 8:30 p.m. sailing also will be canceled. A replacement run will depart Saturday at 8:50 p.m.

And the 8:30 p.m. runs Sunday and Monday will be canceled.
