Soroptimists hosting candidate forums

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles – Noon Club will host a forum for candidates for the state House of Representatives 24th District, Position 1 at noon Friday.

Adam Bernbaum and Matthew Roberson will discuss issues and answer questions during a club meeting at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 S. Del Guzzi St.

On Oct. 18, the club will conduct forums for candidates in three other races:

State Senate, 24th District, Mike Chapman and Marcia Kelbon.

Clallam Public Utility District commissioner, Seat 3, Ken Simpson and Phyllis Bernard.

Clallam County Commissioner, District 2, Kate Dexter and Randy Johnson.

Next week’s meeting will stream at the same Zoom link.
