SEQUIM — Love is still pouring in for the Streett family — even over the air waves.

Brad Cash and John Reynolds of 92.9 KISM Classic Rock in Bellingham visited the Olympic Peninsula on Friday and were part of a special broadcast on KSQM 91.5 FM to honor the Streett family.

Cash and Reynolds passed through Sequim and visited local stops in town and were scheduled to do a live broadcast from Clear Water Bidets with Robert Streett until they heard the tragic news of his death after a car wreck in Colorado took the life of Robert and his eldest son, Robby.

In honor of the Streetts, Cash and Reynolds performed a live broadcast from the Longhouse Market &Deli in Blyn and were featured on KSQM’s morning show with Dick Goodman to encourage support for the Streett family.

Cash and Reynolds said they spoke to many friends, families and associates who know the Streett family.

“Robert was so involved in the community,” Reynolds said during the broadcast. “We need more of those people in any community.”

Josslyn Streett’s best friend, Ellen Hammer, said last Tuesday, that her son Sawyer was released from the hospital Monday and reunited with his mom who remains in Lakewood, Colo., for treatment.

Hammer said Josslyn’s stay at St. Anthony’s Hospital remains “milestone driven” and could last two to four weeks based on her accomplishments in recovery from the wreck.

“She’s getting stronger every day and she’s making those milestones like a champ,” Hammer said. “I think she’s really pushing herself so she can be home sooner.”

The Streett family has a GoFundMe account with a goal of raising $45,000 for financial support. As of Sunday, the campaign had raised $38,510.
