Hot rods and hot dogs
PORT ANGELES — The fifth annual Father’s Day Hot Rods and Hot Dogs Car Show will be held at Deer Park Cinema from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The show at the cinema at 96 Deer Park Road will feature music, food and awards.
The event is free and open to the public.
Hot rods should arrive at 10:30 a.m. to allow for parking.

Pooch and Papa walk
PORT ANGELES — The first Pink Up Port Angeles Pooch and Papa Walk will be held along the Waterfront Trail from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Participants will begin at City Pier, walk the trail to Francis Street get a stamp and walk back to receive a doggie goodie bag and certificate.
Registration for the walk is $20 and will be available at City Pier on Sunday.
Participants will receive a T-shirt.
Walkers can also ask for pledges for the walk.
Proceeds from the event, organized by the Port Angeles Soroptimist Noon Club, benefit Operation Uplift, Port Angeles’ cancer support group.
Dogs must be on a leash, and a poo bag will be furnished.

Father’s Day show
SEQUIM — The Sequim City Band will continue its outdoor concert series with a Father’s Day set at the James Center for the Performing Arts at 3 p.m. Sunday.
The Dixielanders, the Jazz in the Olympics youth band directed by Signe Crawford, will open the show at 2 p.m. at the center at 563 N. Rhoderfer Road.
The concerts are free and open to the public.
Membership in the Sequim City Band is open to all musicians on approval of the director.
Rehearsals are held Monday evenings in Swisher Hall, directly behind the band stand, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Chorale concerts
PORT TOWNSEND — The Wild Rose Chorale will hold concerts at the Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2333 San Juan Ave., at 7:30 p.m. today and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Suggested donation is $12 at the door.
The Father’s Day weekend concerts will include folk songs, jazz numbers, show tunes and pop songs.
Father’s Day brunch
BRINNON — The Brinnon Booster Club will hold a Father’s Day breakfast/brunch from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The meal at 151 Cory Lane will be $5 for adults, and $2.50 for children 8 and younger.
Champagne for dad
SEQUIM — The Sequim Ladies of Elks will host a Father’s Day Champagne Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sunday’s breakfast will be held at the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.
The menu includes ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, fruit, pastries, muffins, orange juice, tea, coffee and champagne.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12 and free for kids younger than 6.

Father’s Day shoot
LAPUSH — A Father’s Day shoot is planned at the Old Mill Archery range Saturday and Sunday.
Registration for the archery events will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and noon Sunday at the archery range in the 110 Business Park complex on LaPush Road.
A youth shoot is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by specialty shoots at 1 p.m. that day.
