BELFAIR — It wasn’t pretty but the Port Angeles boys basketball team improved to 7-2 in Olympic League competition by beating North Mason 63-50 on Tuesday night.
Port Angeles (11-2 overall) blasted out to a 24-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and held on for the win.
“We had a really good start to the game and then went on cruise control,” coach Wes Armstrong said.
