LAPUSH — Distracted driving is being blamed for a one-vehicle rollover Tuesday on state Highway 110.
State Patrol Trooper Russ Winger said there were no injuries in the 12:05 p.m. accident near the highway’s Milepost 6 and Wilson Road.
Kendra Kinghorn, 26, of Snoqualmie was driving the vehicle westbound when she became distracted, Winger said, though it was unclear what distracted her.
Her Kia Sportage SUV veered off the road and rolled over into a ditch.
Deputy Brian King of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office added that a male passenger and 1-year-old infant were also in the car at the time of the wreck.
The infant, he said, was securely belted into a car seat, which probably saved the child from injury.
The State Patrol expected to cite Kinghorn with driving too fast for conditions.
No traffic delays were reported.
Also responding to the accident were LaPush police, Forks Ambulance and Three Rivers Fire Department.
