PORT ANGELES — The search for a 73-year-old dementia patient continued Thursday, four days after John Kerrigan was last seen in Port Angeles.
Kerrigan was last seen Sunday afternoon at his residence at the Arlene Engel Home, 138 W. Second St.
The group home for the mentally ill is near the top of the bluff overlooking the downtown district.
Kerrigan is 5-foot-8, 150 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue winter jacket and a light-blue beanie cap.
Port Angeles Police Officer John Nutter said there have been several potential sightings, but none of the reports has turned out to be credible.
There were no new developments in the investigation Thursday, Nutter added.
Kerrigan is on medication for mental health issues, police said.
Anyone with information on Kerrigan’s whereabouts is asked to phone the Port Angeles Police Department at 360-452-4545.
